Suggested Bakugan Decks For Subterra

This a collection of subterra decks from Bakuganbuzz forum. If you are a subterra brawler then these decks can somehow help you in winning Bakugan battles.

Deck #1
by Timess

Bakugan:
Coredem 780G
Thunder Wilda 750G
Bronze Attack Wilda 670G

Ability Cards:
Blue: Soil Mana
Green: Still debatable, but Attractor
Red: Magnetic Action/Rikimaro's Suprise

Gate Cards:
Sliver: Gate of Earth I think
Gold: Is that one gate that gives 200 to Subterra, but gives like a 300 boost if your opponents Bakugan is like this attribute.
Bronze:Limbo Gate

Yeah, no real strategy..... I haven't changed it in awhile besides the Coredem part.

Deck #2
by Darkus Brawler

Coredem 750g
Preyas II 720g/300g
Hyper Dragonoid 700g

Crushing Blow
Carpus Crypt
Mana Surge

Rock On
Soil Mana
Masq. Throw
(Shadow Lash)

Not extremely thought out, but the general plan is to play Masq. Throw first, use Diablo on my card(Crushing Blow), then use Coredem+Rock On(Soil Mana if required) on their card, then Hyper on my card(Mana Surge), then if I haven't won yet use Coredem+Shadow Lash+Soil Mana(if I still have it) on their card.

Deck #3
by Kohdok

Thunder Wilda 750
Ingram 670
Preyas II 720/300

Ingram
Limbo Gate
Reuse

Julie's Launcher
Soil Mana
Shadow Lash.

Triad Sphinx

I know Subterra's idea is supposed to be XTREEM overwhelming power, but it tends to do that through sheer denial. This deck tries to play to that. You use Julie's Launcher to make your opponent lose their turn (By forcing them to return their Bakugan without a replacement). You use Ingram to get TEH EPICNESS g's, Thunder Wilda and Shadow Lash to attack your opponent's gates, and Preyas II both for Limbo gate and maybe take up the offensive. Soil Mana is your backup.

Some other cards to consider are Gus's Powerblast, which is an optional Rikimaro's Surprise (And thus safer to use), Thunder Wilda or Julie's Throw to force more swaps from your opponent, or even Rock Slide is good when combined with a trap.

The Black Winds Howl

This is a Bakugan battle strategy by Primo Altair from Bakuganbuzz.

Bakugan needed:
HellStorm Gate Card
-Any Ventus Bakugan, 620+ g's
-Your Strongest Darkus Bakugan
-Pyrus Boost Ingram, 660 g's
TRAP: Pyrus Trap that can switch to Ventus

Gate Cards:
Wind Portal
HellStorm
High Ground

Ability Cards:
Pushing Wind
Dire Reaper
Death From Above

For the first battle, use any strong Ventus bakugan on wind portal, along with Pushing Wind. You will probably lose this battle, but it wouldn't hurt to try.

For the second battle, Wind Portal being used allows you to use the special ability of Hellstorm. Get out your strongest darkus bakugan, and use it with h.ellstorm. You will get a great bonus, along with the 100 from wind portal. In this battle, use Dire Reaper.

For the third battle, use High Ground. Roll Pyrus (not ventus...) Boost Ingram to this card, and use Death From Above. You will get 200 bonus, but wait....Huh? Your death from above is evolving! (semi-epic music) Congratulations! Your Death From Abobe has evolved into, DFA x2! High Ground has doubled your ability, making it 400g's. Now, if you want the great ventus bonus from high ground, simply use a trap to change to ventus. (Many people use ventus b. ingram just because of a mere 10g's difference...Using Pyrus gets you 100 g's more using this combo, THAT I DID NOT COPY FROM VULCAN. I FOUND THIS OUT WITH MY FIRST 8 BAKUGAN.
Total: 1290 g's

Gate Card Placement Tip: Early Placement

Winning the Bakugan battle has something to do with how you use your Gate card, and this battle strategy will teach you how Gate cards can be best used when played early in the game.

This battle strategy is brought to you by Brightlight, from the official Bakugan Community.

Gate Card Early Placement

Rattleroid Gate Card
Some Gate cards can be best used when played early in the game. When you are playing one of these cards, be sure to put it out first and have a plan for what you want to do when you engage in battle on it. A great early placement card is the Copper Gate Card, ‘Rattleoid’. Battling on this card early in the game puts your enemy in an odd situation where they have to dump a bunch of Ability Cards or hold on to them allowing you to get some mega G-Power bonuses. This can be particularly devastating when brawling with the Big Game rules!

As you can see, timing can be everything, so I hope you’ll take this strategy and use it as part of your moves to defeat your opponents!

Gate card placement is another factor to consider in winning bakugan battles. So here it goes.

Gate Card Placement: Conditional
Flybeetle Rescue Gate Card
The order in which you play your Gate cards is almost as important as which cards you choose to play with. Gate cards are unusual as they don’t necessarily do anything outside of a battle. It’s not until they are actually used in a brawl that you will see their full affect. So, you have to strategically think ahead when playing Gate cards.

Using a card more than once is a great battle tactic! Take for example, the Gate card ‘Flybeetle Rescue’ which allows you to put a used Red Ability card into your unused pile. When using this Gate card you need to make sure that by the time a battle begins on the card that you have a Red Ability card in your used pile. If you are using a Red Ability card with a generic use like ‘Try Again’, which allows you to re-roll any Pyrus, Haos, or Subterra Bakugan, then don’t play ‘Flybeetle Rescue’ until you have already used ‘Try Again’. However, if you are using a Red Ability card like ‘Flames of Light’ then you can play ‘Flybeetle Rescue’ first. Then, use the ‘Flames of Light’ to add a Bakugan to the Gate card when your opponent lands on it.

Using Gate cards and Ability cards in a strategic order is critical to claiming ultimate victory on the battlefield and is one of the most basic but necessary tactics to keep in mind.
